   Download and install the official desktop application from the link below. **DO NOT** use links from third-party websites or email.

   Verify Firmware and Initialize

   The application will prompt you to install the latest official firmware. **Always verify** that the information displayed on your device screen matches the application.

   • Confirm the device screen shows "Update Firmware".
   • Click 'Install' in the application.

   Create Your Wallet (Device Setup)

   Choose the **'Create New Wallet'** option. Follow the on-screen instructions to set a strong, unique PIN for your device.

   ⚠️ **CRITICAL WARNING:** Your PIN should not be easy to guess. A strong PIN is your primary security layer for physical access.

   Backup: Write Down Your Recovery Seed

   Your device will display a list of 12 or 24 words—this is your **Recovery Seed**. This seed is the **master key** to your wallet. You must write it down on the provided recovery cards.

   • Write the words down in the correct order.
   • **Never** take a photo of the seed.
   • **Never** store the seed digitally (on a computer, in the cloud, etc.).

   Store the written seed in a safe, hidden location away from your device.

   Final Confirmation and Ready!

   The application will ask you to confirm a few words from your seed to ensure you wrote it down correctly (this is a security measure). Once confirmed, your device is ready to use.
